Pacific’s Edge Outdoor Dining Paul Byrne Architect 2016

This remarkable outdoor space with 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean and Point Lobos, was completed by North Star Construction in just twelve weeks. Much of the work involved is invisible, as the steel structure of the trellis extends 30 feet inside the building to new foundation. The roof framing was completely removed and rebuilt to accommodate the new load requirements, and the two floors below were remodeled.
